Duties
HelpThis position serves as an analyst or advisor on various program operations and activities requiring application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative systems analysis, management support principles; and processes and audits of current and historical data and statistics to determine future trends in establishing short-term goals and projecting long-term goals and needed resources.This position starts at a salary of $106,950.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $139,036.00 (GS-13, Step 10).Typical duties include:
- Managing timelines, expectations of key stakeholders, program objectives, project milestones and deliverables relevant to Air and Marine Operation mission initiatives.
- Planning, developing, coordinating, conducting briefings, and presentations for executive management.
- Planning and conducting working groups, personally or through team members, providing advice to managers, and developing and evaluating strategies in assigned program areas.
- Providing technical assistance and direct support to supervisors in all matters relating to the application of acquisition, resource management, planning systems performance management, strategic communications, and management programs to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications
Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as:
- Planning, conducting, and/or participating in relevant studies, providing advice to managers, developing and evaluating policies in assigned program areas, and providing assistance to headquarters and field offices.
- Applying analytical tools and methodology to develop and implement laws, policies and regulations, and to resolve broad and complex planning, evaluation, control, and resource allocation problems.
- Summarizing findings to provide authoritative advice to management throughout the organization.
- Planning and organizing projects, studies, and teams, coordinating with staff and management, and conducting all phases of the work.
- Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and
- Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 09/26/2025.
- Working for the U.S. Government as a federal civilian or as a member of the military
- A dependent who was authorized to accompany a federal civilian or member of the military who was working for the U.S. government
- Participation in a study abroad program sponsored by a U.S. affiliated college or university
- Working as a contractor, intern, consultant or volunteer supporting the U.S. government
