Engineering Tech

As an Engineering Technician, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of manufacturing machinery and electronic equipment. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery and electronic equipment utilizing electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and computer technologies.
- Set up and maintain production and quality control equipment in accordance with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal production quality and testing capabilities.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to communicate equipment status and ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department and company goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or technical school certification preferred. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Some related experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new equipment and systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret safety rules and work instructions.
- Ability to follow instructions, accept feedback, contribute ideas, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production goals.
Job Location and Conditions
- Work is performed primarily in a high-volume manufacturing environment with both manual and automated equipment.
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures (heat and cold) at times.
- Must follow all department safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
