Executive Communications and Events Manager (Hybrid)
- Establish close working relationships with top level executives, learn their voice and craft communications recommendations based on their strengths.
- Partner with Content and Internal Comms teams to develop content and shape employee events for executives.
- Partner with our PR agency and help manage a comprehensive internal and external editorial calendar. Identify, design, and lead corporate-level events strategy and planning.
- Work across the broader Marketing and Comms team to lead owned and industry corporate external events and internal events. Oversee content development and execution of all event elements, from creative to speaking and sponsorship to earned media.
- Implement best practices and share across the business to help elevate our overall external events presence.
- Leverage metrics, technology, and industry best practices to develop and implement new and innovative communication mediums and tools to increase communication effectiveness.
- Partner with top executives, internal business stakeholders, subject matter experts, thought leaders, and PR agencies to develop internal and external content that highlights our purpose-driven projects and unique culture.
- Be a message machine and help us translate the complex work of ICF into memorable and emotionally relevant communications, content, and assets.
- Ensure our employee and market messages are aligned and supportive of creating brand ambassadors.
- 8+ years of communications experience in corporate, in-house, or agency settings.
- Experience working directly with senior executives (vice presidents or above).
- Experience developing and executing corporate and employee events.
- Bachelor's degree.
- A thorough understanding of the communications channel mix.
- A proven track record of planning and delivering effective and creative communications programs that produce tangible results or change.
- A passion for finding new and creative ways to reach an audience.
- Experience working closely with content, brand, and creative teams to ensure your communications are as engaging as possible.
- Command of using metrics from various platforms, such as LinkedIn, Poppulo, and Viva Engage (Yammer), to measure communication effectiveness.
- Familiarity in staging and publishing online content, including SharePoint.
- Experience in technology consulting or government contracting.
