Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients to determine therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy to restore function and mobility
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Technicians in accordance with practice acts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for holistic care
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active state Physical Therapy license or ability to obtain one
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical expertise in patient evaluation and treatment planning
• Knowledge of physical therapy modalities and techniques
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
• Understanding of safety and infection control regulations
• Supervisory skills for directing PTAs and rehab techs
