Dispatch Coordinator - Commercial Division

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare schedules for commercial jobs, determining truck and staff requirements based on information from sales associates and customer orders.
• Assign crews and vehicles, ensuring timely arrivals and departures for each project.
• Direct and support staff, contractors, and crew members throughout the job process.
• Address and resolve scheduling or operational issues as they arise, using strong problem-solving skills.
• Participate in planning and conducting safety meetings and activities to promote a safe work environment.
• Assist with inventory control of company equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform daily administrative duties and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in the moving, storage, or logistics industry is preferred; motivated applicants will be trained.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work six days per week and extended hours as needed.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
