Dispatch Coordinator - Commercial Division

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare schedules for commercial jobs, determining truck and staff requirements based on information from sales associates and customer orders.
- Assign crews and vehicles, ensuring timely arrivals and departures for each project.
- Direct and support staff, contractors, and crew members throughout the job process.
- Address and resolve scheduling or operational issues as they arise, using strong problem-solving skills.
- Participate in planning and conducting safety meetings and activities to promote a safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory control of company equipment and ensure proper usage.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform daily administrative duties and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office programs.
Qualifications
- Experience in the moving, storage, or logistics industry is preferred; motivated applicants will be trained.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work six days per week and extended hours as needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective time management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and follow-up abilities.
- Team-oriented with a friendly attitude and the ability to motivate others.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
