As a **Security Professional - Front Desk Customer Service** in **Fairfax, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment at the assigned location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related incidents with professionalism and care. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
+ Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and visitor credentials as required.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs.
+ Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members to address inquiries and support security-related needs.
+ Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following company and site-specific guidelines.
+ Support a welcoming environment at the front desk while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
