Finance Manager - Lyra Technology Group

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manage r to lead the finance and accounting functions at one of our Operating Companies headquartered out of Wyndham, Virginia . This pivotal role will oversee daily financial operations, manage key accounting processes, and collaborate with the U.S.-based accounting team on reporting and analysis. The Finance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity while providing significant exposure to the organization's operations and growth. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage finance and accounting functions, including budgeting, audit processes, and month-end close, in compliance with U.S. GAAP accounting standards.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Monthly Reconciliations, and Sales and Use Tax.
• Participate in and manage accounting operations, systems, and processes, setting and attaining goals while managing special projects.
• Maintain and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance functions.
• Prepare and oversee financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer group requirements.
• Take an integral role in customer billing processes, including monthly and annual price changes, billing-related incentives, and commissions.
• Liaise with key business partners, including banks, landlords, vendors, and suppliers.
• Provide leadership as both an individual contributor and project leader within a high growth and entrepreneurial environment.
• Interface with state and federal agencies to ensure compliance with tax regulations and employment-related matters.

Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA is a plus.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Senior, Lead, or Management position within the Accounting or Finance department.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience managing various accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Proven problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage relationships with key business stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Experience in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space is a plus.

This role will operate on an in-office basis out the Wyndham VA office and will host a base compensation of $75,000-$85,000 per year. At this time, we are not offering relocation and will prioritize candidates located near Wyndham, VA.
