Join Central Adult Day Healthcare Services as a CSAC in Richmond, VA, where you will play a vital role in supporting adults in their journey to recovery. Be part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions to promote recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote social interaction.
- Educate clients and families about mental health and recovery resources.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Must hold a valid CSAC certification and relevant licensure.
- Experience in mental health or addiction counseling preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to client care.
- Knowledge of community resources and support services.
- Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing client needs.
