Vacuum Truck Operator

We are seeking an experienced Vacuum Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating Vactor trucks to clean sanitary sewer and storm water pipes. Your duties will include performing preventative maintenance programs, heavy cleaning, and root cutting. Additionally, you will clean sanitary sewer systems located in easements and remove debris using catch baskets. This position involves more than just driving.

• Operate Vactor trucks to clean sanitary sewer and storm water pipes.
• Perform preventative maintenance programs and heavy cleaning.
• Conduct root cutting as necessary.
• Clean sanitary sewer systems located in easements.
• Remove debris using catch baskets.
• Travel as required to perform duties.

• Possession of a valid CDL.
• Experience with utilities and CCTV equipment.
• Proficiency in operating vac trucks.
• Ability to drive and perform tasks beyond driving.

• Clean driving record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Availability to work some Saturdays and overtime as needed.

This position requires working outdoors, rain or shine. Be prepared for travel and occasional Saturday shifts. Overtime is a regular part of the job.

This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $58240.00/yr.
