Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and values innovation.

Pay Rate: $22.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, security-related concerns, and/or hazards.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive locations, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues through appropriate channels.
• Prepare clear reports and document observations, incidents, and actions taken, while communicating with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
