Commercial Construction Project Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of commercial construction projects, with a specific focus on managing HVAC and plumbing operations and installations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, as well as extensive knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Project Management: Oversee the planning, implementation, and completion of commercial construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
2. HVAC and Plumbing Operations: Supervise and coordinate HVAC and plumbing operations, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of systems, to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel, to ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
4. Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, costs, and expenditures, and implement cost-effective measures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities, HVAC installations, and plumbing operations comply with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
6. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to guarantee that all construction work, HVAC systems, and plumbing installations meet high-quality standards and specifications.
7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with construction projects, HVAC installations, and plumbing operations, and develop effective strategies to mitigate these risks.
8. Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and clients to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects and installations.
9. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, budgets, and compliance records, and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a strong focus on overseeing HVAC and plumbing operations and installations.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction processes, HVAC systems, plumbing installations, and industry best practices.
4. Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team of construction professionals.
5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout all stages of the construction process.
7. Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
