Senior Business Development Proposal Manager
Summary:
Zermount is seeking a motivated Senior Business Development Proposal Manager which is the focal point of interaction with the customer with respect to capturing processes, creating and presenting briefs, perform detailed requirements analysis, user acceptance testing and other administration tasks as necessary. The Senior Business Development Proposal Manager will be responsible for conducting high-level analysis of processes, assistance with project management, and ability to complete financial tasks as assigned. You will work closely with corporate executive management.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver reports and recommendations to the client regarding modernization and improvement to currently existing processes.
- Identify and recommend improvement actions for processes and policies.
- Provide ITIL infrastructure knowledge to develop, improve, measure, and report on operational processes.
- Apply best practices to assess, develop, maintain, and update ITIL infrastructure documentation.
- Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
- Ability to document processes and procedures in standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Capability of coordinating with other teams to develop and present briefs to executive leadership.
- Work with executive management when necessary to assist and complete financially associated tasks
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, budget and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings and logistics in accordance with team availability
- Developing decks, presentations, communications, and other project supporting material
- Improve and develop new templates and supporting processes for revision (to include senior leadership reports, team weekly status reports, monthly project reports, etc.)
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
- Ensuring project deadlines are met
- Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management
- Dedicate 5 hours a week to support Recruiting Department (mandatory)
- Dedicate 10-16 hours a month to support Business Development team (mandatory)
General Functions:
- Report effectively risks and improvements to executive leadership
- Analyze past processes, current processes, and identify trends and make recommendations for improvements
- Ensure accurate reporting of captured processes and status of all tasks.
- Ability to capture process that are not documented and improve upon those processes
- Providing administrative support as needed
- Support project strategies, schedule development and updates
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Work Location and Core Hours:
- Arlington, VA - Onsite
- 9am 5pm
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7years of related professional experience;
- Knowledge and experience working in Federal government or with large private industry;
- Ability to analyze organizational data and complex problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement strategies to attain performance targets;
- Advanced proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), and Visio;
- Must be self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and highly organized;
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Proficiency in SharePoint publishing and designing
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Education:
- Minimum of a Bachelors degree or equivalent amount of years of professional experience
Certifications:
- One of the following is required:
- ITIL v3
- PMP
- Security+
- CISSP
- Scrum Master
