Marketing Communications Assistant - Entry Level

We’re hiring an Entry-Level Marketing Communications Assistant to support marketing, outreach, and public engagement initiatives for nationally recognized brands and nonprofit campaigns in the Virginia Beach area.

This is a hands-on, public-facing role ideal for individuals looking to gain real-world experience in communications, marketing, and event outreach . No prior experience is required — paid training and mentorship are provided .

What You’ll Do

As a Marketing Communications Assistant, you’ll help execute campaigns and support teams across events and outreach programs:

• Assist with internal and external communications for live events, marketing campaigns, and nonprofit initiatives

• Draft, share, and distribute promotional materials and messaging

• Support event setup, outreach activities, and on-site coordination

• Engage with the public to share campaign information and brand messages

• Track engagement metrics, feedback, and community interactions

• Collaborate with marketing, PR, and event teams to ensure smooth execution of communications and campaigns

• Learn professional communication practices in public-facing, fast-paced environments
