For over 40 years, AHCS has been the primary public behavioral healthcare provider in the Alleghany Highlands area, offering services to adults and children with challenges related to mental health, substance use, and developmental disabilities.
Position SummaryThe Administrative Assistant- Developmental Services provides front-office and administrative support for programs within the Developmental Services Division, helping ensure accurate financial processing and a professional experience for callers and visitors.
Key responsibilities include:- Process accounts payable and receivable with timely, accurate documentation for the assigned areas
- Answer and route incoming calls; greet and assist visitors professionally
- Maintain orderly records, data entry, and routine office correspondence
- Coordinate office coverage, monitor building organization/safety, and manage supply ordering/inventory
- Serve as Consumer Funds Specialist (Representative Payee) for individuals residing at Merryfield ICF/ID Residence Required knowledge and skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience)
- Experience in a business environment with frequent customer interaction
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
