Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and facilities management industry in Lyndhurst VA, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team on first shift. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have previous machine maintenance experience, previous janitorial experience, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Lyndhurst, VA

Pay Range: $20.00

Shift: 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform general facility maintenance to interior and exterior of building, fixtures, appliances, and equipment
• Schedule and oversee third-party contractors for repairs or maintenance
• Inspect ladders, dock doors, dock lights, dock plates, and personnel door access for safe operation
• Maintain Preventative Maintenance schedule and logs for all buildings and equipment
• Operate battery changing equipment/station for powered industrial equipment and identify faulty equipment for repair

What's Needed?

• Minimum two years of maintenance and repair experience
• Strong mechanical ability
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass background check and urine drug screen
