education: High School Responsibilities As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality Volvo trucks. Using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment, you will:
- Position and fasten together truck subassemblies (including frames, axles, powertrains, cabs, electrical components, and hydraulic/air systems).
- Install mechanical and electrical components such as engines, transmissions, wire harnesses, pumps, and air-conditioning systems.
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks according to strict blueprints and standard operating procedures.
- Examine connections for correct fit and inspect parts to catch any defects or quality issues.
- Safely utilize overhead cranes and rigging techniques (training provided).
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while documenting your production actions.
