The Opportunity
This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On
Safely operate both complex and standard high-speed production equipment that makes our industry-leading nutrition products
Maintain inventory of packaging materials
Complete workorder documentation
Perform quality checks
Clean equipment and the production environment
Troubleshoot equipment issues
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
6 months prior manufacturing experience
Good written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
Experience with tools and equipment related to the position or experience as a Sr. Production Equipment Operator is desired

The base pay for this position is $19.05 – $38.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
