We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Assistant to join our team in Ashland, Virginia. This position involves managing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and ensuring product availability across the country. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Review and align purchase orders with supplier invoices to maintain accurate records.
• Post and process vendor invoices to ensure timely payments and smooth operations.
• Verify and reconcile discrepancies between customer invoices and purchase orders.
• Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve invoice-related issues efficiently.
• Ensure the availability of products by coordinating supply chain logistics across various locations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all transactions and supply chain activities.
• Identify and address potential issues in the supply chain process to prevent disruptions.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to improve invoice and purchase order workflows.
• Proven experience in supply chain logistics or a related field.• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in processing invoices and managing purchase orders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address discrepancies and improve processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
