A well-established equipment company in the Richmond area is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver / Utility Worker to support daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, driving locally, and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The Delivery Driver / Utility Worker will be responsible for transporting equipment, assisting in warehouse operations, supporting customers, and helping maintain equipment and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving & Delivery
• Operate company trucks to deliver and pick up equipment, including small trailers and related materials
• Perform local deliveries within the Richmond area
• Secure loads properly and follow all transportation safety requirements
• Warehouse & Yard Support
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Assist with inventory organization, staging, and yard cleanliness
• Support general warehouse operations as needed
• Customer Service
• Assist customers with equipment selection
• Provide basic product explanations or demonstrations when required
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude at all times
• Equipment Maintenance
• Perform basic inspections and routine checks on equipment
• Identify and report mechanical issues or maintenance needs
• Safety & Documentation
• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Complete required logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (CDL Class A or B preferred, depending on equipment)
• Experience operating trucks and/or heavy equipment preferred
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow established procedures
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Physically able to lift, move, and handle equipment as required
