Overview:

Solutions Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is now hiring a full-time Physical Therapist/Clinic Director for an Outpatient Orthopedic / Sports position in Alexandria, VA. The clinic is centrally located near King Street Station, directly across Duke Street from Whole Foods in Old Town Alexandria. Free underground parking is provided in a garage under the building where the clinic is located.

PTs at Solutions Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine use manual therapy and functional exercise to help patients achieve their goals. This privately owned practice has a strong team-based culture with an emphasis on mentorship and training to facilitate personal and professional growth.

Caseload/Patient Population:

The caseload is a mix of general orthopedics (70%) and sports (30%) for all ages. The PT hired will see 11-12 patients per day.

Clinic Directors perform a mix of managerial duties and direct patient care.

Work Schedule:

The clinic is open Monday through Friday. The work schedule is 2 days a week 7 am-3:30 pm, 2 days a week 11:30 am to 8 pm. Fridays rotate between 7 am to 3:30 pm and 10 am to 6:30 pm.

No weekends or holidays are required. Enjoy an excellent work/life balance!

Compensation:

Physical Therapists are paid a competitive salary that starts at $80,000 per year and goes up based on experience and productivity.

Benefits:

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance: the clinic pays 90% of the premium for employees and 50% for dependents. Eligibility starts on the first of the month after the start date.

• 401k with 100% match up to 4% of gross salary. Eligibility starts after 1 year of employment.

• Annual Con-ed spending minimum of $1,500 per year and unlimited con-ed through Medbridge. Additional Con-ed money is available.

• OCS, SCS prep tracks, and residency options.

• 15 days PTO annually for staff-level PTs.

• 6 paid holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years.

• 50% of APTA dues.

Job Requirements:

• Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).

• Eligible for or currently licensed in Virginia as a Physical Therapist.

• 4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist and 2 years of clinic management or a similar leadership role are required.

• Full-time is required.
