What will I be doing?

Do you enjoy managing clients, developing strategic goals, and leading a team? You will put these skills to use. You will develop a regional sales strategy, lead a market entry strategy into the senior living sector, direct a team, and align strategic resources to influence the full lead potential of HSM's vendor network. You will also have ownership and be accountable for business outcomes.

What you'll do during a typical day:

• Market entry strategy
• Identify and track key sales metrics (sales pipeline, sales funnel, time-to-close, win rate)
• Lead development of sales collateral
• Lead a cross functional team to achieve growth goals

How you'll collaborate with others:

• Cultivate partnerships with strategic suppliers, senior living brands, facility management company representatives, and owner groups.
• Give strategic guidance and engage with Sales teams on opportunities from inception through the contracting phase.
• Work with internal and external teams through lead sourcing strategy and activation.
• Collaborate with teams on contract revisions.
• Work with branding teams to create sales and marketing materials that support lead generation efforts.
• Engage with external agencies, plan, and execute important events for top prospects.
• Develop relationships with key account partners.
• Collaborate with Account Management to deliver services per the contract and meet customer needs.
• Guide a team of professionals for performance and personal development.

Projects you'll take ownership of:

• Short and long-term senior living sales strategy
• Set KPIs and performance metrics for entry into senior living market
• Determine specific suppliers and products required to meet the needs of the market and working with Category Management to source the products
• Lead all senior living business development efforts

What It Takes to Make the Stay

Success will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:

• Work well under tight constraints and balance multiple, concurrent demands.
• Confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Help share information promptly.
• Lead change, resolve conflicts and ensure collaboration within teams and units; includes maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.

You have these minimum qualifications:

• Ten (10) years of related professional experience
• Four (4) years of sales and management/supervisory experience
• Open to travel up to 50% of the time

It would be useful if you have:

• BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or MA/MS Master's Degree
• Fifteen (15+) years of related professional experience
• Six (6+) years of sales and management/supervisory experience
• Senior living operational or account experience
• GPO sales/account management experience of senior living supply chain management
