Here Now Health is the first virtual behavioral health company built exclusively for children and families impacted by the child welfare system. We serve Medicaid members eligible due to foster status, often including youth in foster care, adopted youth, young adults aging out (through 26), and those connected through family preservation or juvenile justice systems.

We deliver trauma-informed, high-touch mental health care in systems where continuity and access are often inconsistent. We partner with states and Medicaid plans to reduce crisis escalation, improve placement stability, and create measurable value through preventative care.

We are expanding across states and deepening payer partnerships. We are hiring a senior operations leader to build and run the infrastructure that supports that growth.

The Role

This is a senior build-and-execute role.

You will work directly with the Founder & CEO, Chief of Staff/Head of Product, and Clinical Leadership to design and scale multi-state Medicaid behavioral health operations.

We are looking for someone who has built business and clinical operations before and can independently translate strategy into execution.

You should be comfortable taking a high-level objective and defining the operational plan required to deliver it.

What You’ll OwnMulti-State Clinical Operations

• Design and scale operational systems that support care delivery across multiple states.

• Build compliant workflows for intake, scheduling, care coordination, documentation, and quality oversight.

• Launch new pilots and service lines from planning through go-live.

Payer & State Execution

• Translate Medicaid and managed care contracts into staffing models, SOPs, reporting structures, and readiness plans.

• Ensure operational alignment before launch.

• Anticipate regulatory and compliance risks and address them proactively.

Organizational Infrastructure

• Establish execution cadence, ownership clarity, and accountability across teams.

• Strengthen HR, onboarding, and compliance systems (JustWorks PEO).

• Build processes that can scale without constant oversight.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the Clinical Operations Project Manager.

• Hire and structure future operational roles (billing, HR/payroll, operations).

• Set clear expectations and performance standards.

Who You Are

• You have built and fully owned the scaling of a behavioral health services organization from early stage through multi-state expansion.

• You are experienced in Medicaid and managed care operations.

• You operate with high autonomy and strong judgment.

• You can move from problem definition to execution without extensive direction.

• You are steady under pressure and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment.

• Professional experience with child welfare, juvenile justice, or complex Medicaid populations is strongly preferred. Lived experience is a plus.
