Description

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Information System Security Officer (ISSO) requiring a SECRET clearance located in Vienna, VA.

The ISSO provides host-based security monitoring and administration using the DoD HBSS suite. Ensures systems comply with cybersecurity requirements and supports vulnerability management and incident response.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Administer HBSS modules (HIPS, DLP, RSD, PA).

- Monitor and analyze security alerts.

- Support vulnerability scans and remediation activities.

- Maintain compliance with FISMA, DoD, and Treasury policies.

- Generate and review HBSS security reports.

- Provide support during security inspections and audits.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

- Active Secret clearance (T-3).

- HBSS 201 Administrator and/or HBSS 301 Advanced certification.

- Experience administering McAfee ePO and HBSS modules.

- Knowledge of ACAS, SCAP, and NIST standards.

- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- CISSP or Security+ certification.

- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk).

- Knowledge of incident response best practices.
