Key Responsibilities (What We Actually Do Every Day):
- Accurately measure interior and exterior windows/openings
- Cut, trim, and fine-tune shutters for flawless, custom fits
- Prep surfaces, drill pilots, install hardware, and ensure everything is level, plumb, and rock-solid
- Handle repairs, tweaks, and maintenance on existing systems
- Safely load/unload materials and tools at sites
- Deliver top-notch customer service with a courteous, professional vibe
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of proven professional experience installing both interior (plantation-style) and exterior shutters (wood, composite, etc.)
- Solid carpentry/mechanical skills and comfort with hand/power tools
- Ability to read plans/blueprints and work precisely from measurements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (must be comfortable navigating the Richmond area)
- Strong customer service skills—homeowners trust you in their space
