Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care plans
• Independently diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic conditions alongside physicians as appropriate
• Providing education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your scope of practice
• Participating in follow-up care and management of chronic health issues

• Accurately documenting patient information within electronic medical records (EMR)

What You Need to Join Us

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Virginia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
