Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1910–$1960 per week

Surgical Tech Job Details – Eau Claire, WI

• Location: Eau Claire, WI 54701 (Wisconsin healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Hospital Operating Room
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 10/6/2025 – End: 1/5/2026)
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (06:45 – 19:15)
• Total Hours: 36 per week
• Call Requirement: Yes (30-minute response time)
• Float Requirement: Yes, within hospital units
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend

Surgical Technologist Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent Surgical Tech experience in a hospital setting
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or military equivalent
• Active BLS certification (AHA required)
• Prior travel surgical tech experience required
• Proficient in ortho/spine, ENT, and robotic surgical procedures
• Demonstrated experience with high-volume C-sections and OB surgical support
• Ability to float to other surgical units as needed
• Meet all facility credentialing and onboarding requirements
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Surgical Tech Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons in a variety of procedures including orthopedic/spine, ENT, and robotic surgeries
• Provide support for high-volume stat C-sections and OB cases
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure proper instrument sterilization
• Float to other surgical units within the hospital as needed
• Participate in call rotation with a 30-minute response time
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams such as Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Radiology
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols and universal precautions
• Deliver patient care across all age groups: pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
