**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment, including CNC machines, furnaces, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic tools, and leak test equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, report repair statuses using the Maintenance Management System (MMS), and troubleshoot industrial equipment using your knowledge of industrial electrical components, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
**Responsibilities**
+ Repair and maintain a variety of production equipment and tooling in accordance with equipment specifications and local codes.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment according to developed standards.
+ Report the status of repairs and work orders using the Maintenance Management System (MMS).
+ Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial equipment utilizing skills in industrial electrical components, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
+ Communicate effectively with internal customers about repair steps, parts ordered, and time estimates for completion.
+ Participate in daily team meetings to prioritize and review work schedules.
+ Operate production equipment to troubleshoot and test as needed.
+ Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and representatives to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
+ Adhere to company policies and maintain punctuality for scheduled shifts.
+ Maintain assigned workspace, equipment, and tools to company standards.
+ Perform other maintenance, project, and supporting tasks as assigned.

+ Understanding of electrical and industrial blueprints
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or GED (or willingness to complete within 12 months of employment).
+ 3+ years of mechanical experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
+ Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
+ Ability to use hand tools and measuring tools (e.g., calipers, tape measure).
+ Ability to read and understand manuals, prints, and schematics.
+ Good communication skills and basic computer/tablet skills.
+ Ability to comply with OSHA and company safety regulations, including Lock Out / Tag Out procedures.
+ Comfortable working in a production environment and interacting with all levels of associates.
+ Ability to lift 60 pounds.

The facility is climate-controlled, well-lit, clean, and organized, providing a fast-paced work environment. This role requires **initial training on the 1st shift (Monday-Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm), transitioning to the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday 10:00 pm - 6:30 am)** .
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
