Air Handlers Heating & Cooling is a well-established, family-owned company with over 30 years of trusted service throughout the Hampton Roads area. We're expanding our team and looking for a Lead Installer to drive quality installations and support our growing crew.

Compensation & Benefits

• $33.00 - $39.00 per hour , based on experience and performance
• Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, with occasional overtime and rotational evening/on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise residential and light commercial HVAC system installations from start to finish
• Maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism on every job
• Deliver excellent customer experiences and represent the company positively on job sites
• Train, coach, and mentor installation team members to improve skills and efficiency
• Read blueprints, interpret wiring diagrams, perform air balancing, and handle sheet metal work
• Take ownership of projects while working collaboratively with the broader team

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience
• Previous lead or supervisory experience in HVAC installation
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with a clean record (no DUI or reckless driving violations in the last 5 years)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions
• Universal EPA Certification
• Strong customer service skills and demonstrated leadership ability
• Willingness to obtain a low voltage license within 2 years and NATE certifications within 1 year

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC technical school certificate or formal training
• Own set of professional tools
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Clean, insurable driving record
• Dependable attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude
