Litigation Paralegal

Dunlap Bennett & Ludwig is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a team focused on business and individual clients with a variety of needs. This is an opportunity to play an integral role in representing individuals and businesses with a nationwide client base. Daily work includes litigation and business support.

We are looking for someone who knows what it takes to solve problems and learn new areas of law. This team serves as our clients' go-to resource for a variety of problems. The ideal candidate brings trial preparation and discovery experience, drafts with precision, and operates with the kind of professional judgment that earns the trust of attorneys and clients alike. As the legal industry continues to evolve, we expect our paralegals to understand and thoughtfully leverage artificial intelligence tools in their daily work. The ideal candidate is comfortable using AI-powered platforms for tasks such as document review, legal research, discovery, drafting, and case organization, while exercising the critical judgment needed to verify outputs, safeguard client confidentiality, and uphold ethical and professional standards. A willingness to adapt to emerging technologies and integrate them responsibly into legal workflows is essential.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of commercial litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or legal department setting.
• Demonstrated experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, interrogatories, and other litigation documents.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and writing skills.
• Advanced organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple active matters, track deadlines, take ownership of work product, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with, or demonstrated aptitude for, AI-powered legal technology tools, with sound judgment about when and how to use them responsibly.
