We are looking for an experienced Project/Program Manager II to join our team in Arlington, VA. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate various projects and programs, ensuring their successful completion. You will play a key role in managing daily operations, tracking program metrics, and crafting impactful communications for stakeholders. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to work on meaningful initiatives and contribute to organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Establish project timelines, delegate responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.

• Develop and deliver comprehensive reports to senior leadership, highlighting project status and insights.

• Facilitate matches and re-matches within the program, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement.

• Manage the annual survey process, from distribution to data analysis, to gather actionable insights.

• Track, analyze, and report on program metrics to demonstrate impact and identify areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of project tasks.

• Drive stakeholder communication strategies, ensuring clarity and alignment across all parties.

• Lead and direct team members, fostering collaboration and creativity to achieve project goals.

• Utilize tools like Excel and Qualtrics to perform data-driven decision-making and analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with 4-7 years of experience in project or program management.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management principles, including planning, coordination, and reporting.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel and Qualtrics.
• Strong communication skills, with experience crafting messages for diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
• Proven ability to manage mentorship programs is highly desirable.
• Background in internal communications or stakeholder management is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
