FIELD ENGINEERING MANAGER

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Field Engineering Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of multiple VLS Customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring MK 41 VLS equipment is maintained and tested to the stringent VLS requirements to maintain US National Security.
● Lead over 15 direct reports in the day to day operations of the VLS production.
● Collaborate with GDIT departments such as Quality Assurance, Security, Weld Shop, Painting Shop and outside vendors/subcontractors
● Drive schedules and manage the work force to successfully meet multiple contract milestones.
● Utilize VLS System Maintenance Technician to enusre must current and correct VLS poliocies and procedures are being followed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring yourVLS SMT expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Engineering Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Security clearance level: Secret
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Maintain a active and fluid relationship with the VLS customers
