Job Description

Leverage Power BI knowledge to enable robust data visualizations, analytical forecasting, and integration with other datasets and dashboards. Provide report and dashboard development and maintenance support. Responsibilities include:

• Automate data ingestion processes and ensure seamless integration with other relevant datasets and dashboards.
• Perform ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting, including weekly and monthly updates to existing dashboards.
• Implement enhancements to existing dashboards where applicable, such as creating additional data visualizations with existing client-provided data and improving UI/UX design based on user feedback.
• Develop new dashboards for customer leadership to increase ability to report critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and demonstrate ROI.
• Develop automated reports using data analytics capabilities and metrics from existing and/or new dashboards to increase the capabability to provide real-time data to the mission and executive leaders

The successful candidate must be able to work 100% onsite in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia area. REMOTE IS NOT AVAILABLE. ONSITE ONLY (ASHBURN, VA OR SPRINGFIELD, VA). MUST BE LOCAL.

The projected compensation range for this position is $95K - $115K annualized (USD). The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal pay equity, location, contract-specific affordability and other organizational requirements.

Required Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
• In-depth understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data transformation techniques
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
• Familiarity with data governance and security principles within Power BI, as well as familiarity with Data Gateways
• Experience with writing DAX expressions and performing data calculations within PowerBI
• US Citizenship
