Release Train Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support Agile Release Train (ART) execution within a fast-paced Financial Services and AWS-centric technology environment. This role is responsible for coordinating Program Increment (PI) planning, facilitating cross-team collaboration, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring alignment between business strategy and delivery execution.
We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to support Agile Release Train (ART) execution within a fast-paced Financial Services and AWS-centric technology environment. This role is responsible for coordinating Program Increment (PI) planning, facilitating cross-team collaboration, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring alignment between business strategy and delivery execution.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, PMO teams, and engineering leadership to drive operational excellence across large-scale Agile initiatives. The RTE will play a key role in improving transparency, delivery predictability, and program-level communication while supporting cloud-based enterprise solutions and modernization efforts. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
. 5+ years of experience serving as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Program Manager, or Senior Scrum Master in scaled Agile environments
. Hands-on knowledge of SAFe Agile methodologies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and ART ceremonies
. Ability to manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, impediments, and delivery coordination across multiple teams
. Experience working in enterprise Financial Services environments with strong governance and compliance requirements
. Familiarity with AWS-based technology ecosystems and cloud transformation initiatives
. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams
. Experience partnering with PMO organizations to improve execution tracking, reporting, and operational excellence
. Skilled in facilitating executive-level discussions, ART demos, and program synchronization meetings
. Understanding of Agile metrics, feature tracking, roadmap alignment, and delivery reporting
. Experience using Agile delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or Azure DevOps Education:

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $99,200.00 - $136,400.00.
