Preschool Teacher
Summary CAVE SPRING UNITED METHODIST CHURCH Weekday Preschool seeks a caring, kind, loving individual to join our staff. Must have a heart for caring for children and a passion for early childhood education. This position will have a minimum of 30 hours, up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Duties Duties to include, but are not limited to:
- Interacting with children and their parents in a positive and energetic manner
- Follow the curriculum completely each day
- Monitor the children's safety at all times
- Enforce rules and policies
- Maintain a neat and clean classroom
- Work collaboratively with other staff members
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have experience caring for young children
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, sit on the floor, etc.
- Must be able to pass fingerprint and CPS background checks
- Have the ability to remain responsible at all times for the supervision of children
- Work cooperatively with a team
- CPR certification
- Early childhood education
- Inclement weather days off
- Set hours with no nights or weekends
