Job Description
We’re looking for an Occupancy Specialist/ Resident Resolutions Coordinator to work at our Foxchase Apartment Homes located in Alexandria, VA. Take look at the community here:
This position is located in an affordable community that is covered by government regulations.
What You Will Do
- Making appointments, receiving and screening visitors and telephone calls using a telephone script.
- Maintaining and controlling confidential files and records.
- Preparing leases for occupancy and making initial computation of rents and monthly payments according to authority policy.
- Reviewing applications and interviews applicants for housing.
- Maintains the waiting list of applicants for housing and determines applicant eligibility.
- Maintaining continuing compliance and resident relations, upholding all fair housing principles, and applying the unique Program rules correctly including the student, unit transfer, unit vacancy and available unit rules.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Generally has specific experience in the regulatory occupancy field.
- Certified Occupancy Specialist preferred, though not required
- Excellent customer service skills to address current and future resident needs.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work during our office hours (hours may vary based on community and season). Typical schedule will be Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
- Reliable transportation.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Benefits
- Expected base pay rate of $28.00 - $30.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

What You Need to Know
