Job Title: Teacher Assistant
Location: Leesburg, VA (20176)
Duration: 10 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 08:30 AM – 03:45 PM

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support instructional delivery and classroom management in a dynamic educational environment. This role involves assisting teachers with lesson execution, supporting student development, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom.

• Support lead teachers in delivering lessons, classroom activities, and group instruction
• Provide individualized academic, social, and behavioral support to students
• Monitor student performance and behavior, offering guidance and reinforcement
• Prepare and maintain classroom materials, supplies, and learning resources
• Assist with classroom technology and instructional tools as needed
• Supervise students during class, transitions, lunch, recess, and dismissal
• Help with grading, documentation, and recordkeeping
• Communicate effectively with staff to support student progress
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment aligned with school standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or education-related coursework preferred
• Prior experience working with children (school, daycare, tutoring, or youth programs) preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow direction and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Patient, dependable, and committed to student success
• Knowledge of academic support strategies or special education is a plus
