Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage accounting functions for multiple entities. This role involves day-to-day bookkeeping, month-end close support, reconciliations, and generating accurate financial reports. strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience is required, and familiarity with converting files from QuickBooks Desktop to QBO is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and categorize bank/credit card activity, vendor bills, tenant receipts, owner distributions, and transfers

• Maintain intercompany due-to/due-from tracking across entities

• Process weekly check runs and vendor payments

• Prepare monthly financial statements for all entities (P&L, Balance Sheet, GL detail)

• Complete month-end GL reconciliations

• Prepare and post recurring journal entries

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or staff accounting experience; multi-entity experience strongly preferred

• Solid understanding of reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements

• strong attention to detail, organization, and independent follow-through

• Clear written and verbal communication; proactive in flagging issues

• Minimum Associate’s degree in Accounting

Systems & Software:

• QuickBooks Online (required)

• QuickBooks Desktop (conversion experience preferred)

• Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Adobe Acrobat
