Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Stepdown experience in Chesapeake, VA. This contract position is ideal for an RN skilled in providing specialized care for patients transitioning from intensive care, requiring vigilant monitoring and advanced nursing expertise.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care to stepdown unit patients
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes promptly
- Collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educating patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
