Overview

As a DevOps infrastructure engineer at Booz Allen, you will work closely with cloud architects and engineers to manage server configuration for modern cloud solutions. You’ll apply your skills within a DevOps framework to establish or provision virtual machines or networks and use cloud service providers to further your clients’ meaningful missions.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Collaborate with cloud architects to design, configure, and maintain infrastructure across multi‑cloud and hybrid environments.
• Provision virtual machines, storage, and virtual networks using cloud services.
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, automate builds, tests, and deployments.
• Capture infrastructure and configuration as code with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Resolve issues related to infrastructure, network, and application deployments.
• Guide and mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with DevOps or System Administration teams.
• 5+ years of experience with Linux and Windows Administration.
• 2+ years as a team lead of cloud or on‑prem infrastructure DevOps teams.
• 2+ years with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
• 2+ years using task management software such as Jira.
• 2+ years with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, SQS, or SNS.
• 2+ years capturing infrastructure and configuration as code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• 2+ years with VMware or Citrix.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in DevOps in lieu of degree.

Nice If You Have

• Experience with security scanning tools and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with Sponsor A & A process and systems.
• Experience with on‑prem hardware management at Sponsor sites.
• Experience with OCI and Azure.
• Experience with managing Oracle Database instances.
• Experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
• Experience developing tools and processes to advance DevOps or DevSecOps maturity.
• Experience writing scripts with Python, Bash, or Boto3.
• Experience improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
• AWS and OCI certifications.

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, experience, and contract specifics. The projected range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
