How you'll contribute 

A Director and Registered Nurse who excels in this role: 

• Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work
• Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing
• Reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff
• Directs the department's activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization

What we're looking for: Applicants must have a current Virginia state or compact state RN license.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days
• NRP and PALS are required within 30 days
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring is required every two years and within one year of hire
• Previous Women's/Labor and Delivery experience
