Insight Global is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Data Center Technician – Logistics Support to join a dynamic and expanding data center team for one of our leading technology clients. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting warehouse operations, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring inventory accuracy in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Strong preference will be given to candidates with backgrounds from Microsoft DC Academy, SVHEC, or SVCC.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or warehouse support
• At least 1 year of experience with data entry and shipping/receiving documentation
• Ability to perform cycle audits and correct inventory discrepancies
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Experience with inventory tracking, inventory management, and warehouse operations

Preferred Qualifications (Plusses):

• Experience working in a large-scale warehouse (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target)
• Previous experience in a data center environment
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Security+
• Strong knowledge of components such as: Fans, PSUs, GPU Cards, Chassis, Motherboards, Heatsinks, CPUs, NICs, HDDs, FPGA Cards, or SDDs

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Execute logistics and warehouse support tasks as directed by management
• Perform data entry to document inbound and outbound shipments
• Handle purchase order (PO) receiving and rack movement supervisor (RMS) activities
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping for all deliveries
• Conduct cycle audits and make necessary data corrections
• Track and stage physical inventory with attention to detail
• Escalate issues appropriately during high-volume or complex situations
• Collaborate with team members and seek guidance when needed

Location: Boydton, Virginia

Pay Range: $17/hr-$20/hr
