JOB DESCRIPTION

FLSA Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Senior Superintendent
Review Date : January 27, 2025
Salary Range: $76,956 - $115,434

Summary/Objective
To oversee and manage construction projects ranging from $5 million to 25 million. Be responsible for onsite coordination, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining project schedules and adhering to budgetary guidelines. Be a result-oriented leader enforce safety and quality control per government specifications and contract drawings. May operate in the areas of Quality Control and Site Safety Health Officer.

  • Work collaboratively with assigned Projector Manager on all facets of the project from pre-construction meetings (attend) to post project documentation.
  • Perform all project start-up and close out activities as described in the Procedures Manual.
  • Responsible for Project Site Utilization Plan and documentation as required per specifications and on-site existing condition.
  • Responsible for scheduling, sequencing, and phasing of construction activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and the project Subcontractors.
  • Responsible for ordering and scheduling delivery and pick up of any equipment and/or material required by General Contractor.
  • Perform the required project line and grade layout responsibilities.
  • Thoroughly understand, organize, and maintain all project contract documents including contract drawings and specifications on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and distribute all field related project administrative documents.
  • Implement and enforce all required SYNCON on-site Quality Control procedures.
  • Responsible as project SSHO, implement, and enforce all required SYNCON on-site Safety procedures. Hold weekly Safety “Toolbox Talk“ meetings with staff and subcontractors.
  • Assist other Superintendents as required.
  • Perform quality and safety inspections to comply with contract and regulatory requirements.

10. Safety Awareness: Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.

Required Education and Experience
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. 8 more years of experience as a superintendent
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Certifications dealing with Safety
2. 10+ years of experience as a superintendent
3. B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering or related field position.
