We are currently seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our team as a Mechanic Technician/Vehicle Upfitter at the fleet management shop in Lynchburg, VA.

We are pursuing an applicant who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical and upfitting or fabrication skills. Experience with decal or vinyl work is a plus, as is rollback or wrecker experience or a willingness to learn. A Virginia state inspection license is also a plus but not required. The ability to assist with snow removal during inclement weather is required.

Key Responsibilities : with or without accommodation the candidate should be able to successfully

• Perform mechanical tasks and repairs, frequently requiring fine motor skills

• Perform and assist with upfitting and fabrication projects

• Apply decals and vinyl work

• Conduct snow removal during inclement weather, typically involving manually shoveling snow

• Potentially operate a rollback (training provided if willing to learn)

• Some overnight travel required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Mechanically inclined

• Willingness to learn and adapt

• Upfitting or Fabrication skills (preferred but not required)

• Decal or vinyl work experience (preferred but not required)

• Rollback or wrecker experience (preferred but not required)

• Virginia state inspection license (preferred but not required)

• Ability to perform snow removal tasks

• Well-rounded and loyal with a strong work ethic
