Job Description

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy of financial information. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping documentation
• Prepare financial statements and financial reports
• Record and verify journal entries
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Utilize accounting software for data entry, reporting, and record maintenance
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Assist with maintaining compliance with company financial procedures
• Provide administrative support related to accounting and finance functions

What You Bring

• Experience in bookkeeping and general accounting practices
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
• Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements
• Experience with accounting software and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Understanding of finance principles and accounting concepts
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years prior experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Experience working in a professional office environment
