Now Hiring: Phlebotomist II – Richmond, VA (Full-Time, Onsite)

Location: 517 West Grace Street, Richmond, VA 23220

Contract- 3+months

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $20-$22.30/hr

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist II to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our IOP location in Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
• Process specimens and handle high-volume draws (approx. 30/day)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Work independently alongside an on-site nurse (minimal team interaction)
• Serve adults with intellectual disabilities with exceptional customer service
• Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport
• Complete a 2–3 week training program, including safety training and processing procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–4 years of phlebotomy experience required
• Experience drawing blood from all age groups
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• TB test and color vision screening required (Hepatitis B vaccination recommended but optional)
• Must be able to stand most of the day
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Training will be conducted onsite with corporate trainer
