Introduction

Classic Granite & Marble has a 98,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art fabrication and production facility with an award-winning showroom located conveniently off I-288 and Midlothian Turnpike. We carry an inventory of over 9000 slabs including 300 different colors in our indoor facility. We handle all projects from beginning to end, which includes laser templating, CAD, fabrication, and installation.

Ideal candidates will be , highly organized, self-motivated, positive individuals with amazing people skills and attention to detail! Our clients include both residential homeowners and building contractors, and candidates need to not only be able to interface between our clients, but also between the various departments and employees.

Job Summary

The Contractor Relations Specialist is fully responsible for managing each project from beginning to end, requiring both external communication with contractors/customers and internal communication with accounts and other departments. They ensure complete customer and account satisfaction while meeting internal requirements. Customer requirements need to be at the forefront of all interactions.

Responsibilities and Duties

● Manage pre-sold jobs from template to install.

● Meet with contractor/customer walk-ins while at the office

● Lead customer-centric showroom experience

● Prepare and submit customer quotes / estimates

● Review and sign all documentation with customers

● Answer and return customer phone calls by the end of the day

● Perform accurate square footage calculations

● Provide prompt solutions to customer concerns

● Perform post-installation follow up with customers

● Generate positive social media reviews on four platforms

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage contractor sales and oversee project coordination from start to finish. Respond quickly to evolving customer needs and provide effective, solution-oriented support.

Handle all aspects of project management, including identifying customer requirements, generating quotes, and measuring for product specifications. Present clear and detailed information about stone material characteristics and demonstrate strong knowledge of countertop fabrication and installation processes. Prepare thoroughly for appointments, attend client meetings, and manage all associated documentation. Actively prospect new clients and participate in relevant industry events. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors through in-person meetings, email, job platforms, and phone communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of Project or account management experience in construction
• Strong customer relations experience
• Highly organized, detail oriented, and strong communication

Base Salary + incentive bonus structure
