The Purchasing Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, documenting, and stocking incoming materials, supplies, and products to support purchasing and production needs. This role works closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure purchase orders are processed correctly, inventory is updated, and materials are organized and readily available for use. The position also assists with vendor returns, inventory counts, and other administrative purchasing functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, match packing slips to purchase orders, and verify quantities and descriptions.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality and damage; document and report any discrepancies to the Purchasing Manager.
• Record received items in the ERP or purchasing system to maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.
• Stock materials and supplies in designated storage locations, following inventory rotation and organization standards.
• Maintain accurate bin locations and labeling to ensure items are easy to locate.
• Coordinate with the Purchasing Manager on vendor returns, replacements, or adjustments.
• File and maintain receiving documentation, purchase order records, and related paperwork.
• Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and restocking efforts.
• Maintain a clean, organized receiving and storage area to ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Assist in manufacturing shipping as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior receiving, purchasing, or inventory stocking experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn purchasing and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, hourly position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday. Flexibility may be required as job duties demand.
