About the team:
Building data pipelines to process Billions of customer data and assign unique customer keys to all CapitalOne customers and establish a customer record for them to get service developing microservices for real-time account booking and demographic updates and stream to all
This position will be a typical Monday - Friday 9-5 role and the skills we are looking for are:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience in microservices development with Java and spring boot
- At least 2-year experience with cloud computing (AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters Degree
- 6 years of experience in Java and spring boot
- 2 years of experience with AWS GCP Azure or another cloud service
- 3 years of experience in open-source frameworks
Training/Schedule Notes:
- Training will consist of two weeks working 8-5 M-F including shared classroom-type of instruction followed by several weeks of job-based shadowing.
- Once onboarded the available shift times are not set yet but will be morning start times afternoon start times and nights.
- Each shift is 9 hours long with 1-hour unpaid lunch.
- The days off are not set yet but there will be at least one working day during the weekend (Saturday or Sunday).
- Shift schedules will be set due to the call volume and needs of Capital One.
