We are seeking a motivated and experienced Non-Asset Agriculture Carrier Dispatcher to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating freight between shippers and a network of reliable third-party carriers. As a non-asset-based logistics company, your ability to build relationships, problem-solve in real-time, and manage multiple shipments simultaneously is critical to ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate rates, and book loads with third-party carriers
• Manage and monitor freight from pickup to delivery ensuring on-time performance
• Maintain constant communication with carriers, drivers, and customers
• Track and trace shipments proactively and provide status updates
• Use TMS (Transportation Management System) software to update shipment details
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier partners
• Resolve issues related to delays, damaged freight, or missed appointments
• Ensure all compliance standards are met, including carrier qualifications and safety records
• Maintain proper documentation for all loads and transactions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelors degree preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in agriculture dispatching, logistics, or brokerage (non-asset preferred)
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and carrier compliance
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
• Knowledge of various freight types (dry van, reefer, flatbed, LTL)
• Existing carrier network connections
