We represent a premier trust and estate administration practice known for exemplary client service and an unwavering commitment to delivering “WOW” experiences from first contact to final resolution. If you thrive in an environment that values teamwork, innovation, and balance, you are ready to contribute to a high-performing team. You'll find this role both rewarding and dynamic.
In this position, you will support attorneys and senior team members with a broad range of responsibilities across trust and estate administration, tax planning and preparation, probate proceedings, and fiduciary services. Specific duties include:

- Researching statutes, regulations, case law, and legal articles; preparing written analysis for attorney review.
- Opening and administering probate estates and trusts: valuing decedent's assets, preparing court forms and orders, funding subtrusts, preparing inventories, annual accountings, deeds, asset spreadsheets, settlement agreements, change-of-ownership forms, and distribution proposals.
- Communicating with beneficiaries; maintaining case files, correspondence, compliance calendars, and checkbooks; paying bills; calculating executor/trustee fees and beneficiary distributions.
- Gathering decedent income and expense information for final tax returns (individual, estate, and trust), coordinating with tax preparers.
- Performing legal research and summarizing estate planning documents, wills, trusts, conservatorship matters, creditor claims, and entitlement issues.
- Utilizing advanced computer skills, including spreadsheet and word processing software, to track billable hours, draft tasks and reminders, maintain databases, and manage workflow.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Outstanding client service orientation: you respond promptly to needs, solicit feedback, and fulfil commitments.
- Strong oral communication skills: you speak clearly, listen well, engage in meetings, and answer questions confidently.
- Excellent written communication: you write clearly and informatively; you edit for spelling/grammar; you present numerical data effectively.
- A professional temperament: you work with minimal supervision, prioritize proactively, and perform well under occasional deadlines or pressure.
- High ethical standards: you keep client and firm information confidential and apply principles of ethical behavior.
- Solid accounting knowledge: you have more than basic familiarity with accounting practices and procedures (GAAP preferred).
- Advanced computer proficiency: strong experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), internet research, document management, and office equipment operation.
Education & Experience (Preferred):
- Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification, or relevant financial services/tax certification preferred.
- Experience in trust and estate administration and/or tax planning or preparation strongly preferred.
What This Opportunity Offers:
- Work within a highly regarded, collaborative team that strives to be “the best in the field” with five-star service.
- A forward-thinking environment that emphasizes efficiency, smart work, continuous learning, and balance, enabling you to excel professionally while enjoying life more fully.
- A diverse workload that spans client contact, document drafting, research, probate, and trust administration, giving you exposure to a wide spectrum of trust & estate matters.
